San Diego Padres Celebrate Opening Day 2013
Baseball fans, your long wait is finally over! The San Diego Padres celebrate their 2013 opening day with a first-of-the-season home game against the Los Angeles Dodgers on Tuesday, April 9th. The Padres hit the field at 3:40pm for what promises to be an exciting opening day of MLB baseball at Petco Park surrounded by the bright green grass, glimmering city skyline and plenty of that famous San Diego sunshine. In addition to classic baseball action on the field, the Padres welcome back their fans on Opening Day with a special commemorative T-shirt and 2013 cling schedule souvenir. Individual game tickets go on sale Thursday, March 7th at 9am PST. Make sure to book your hotel reservations and buy game tickets early, since Opening Day is one of the most popular days of the Padres regular season, with more than 42,000 fans expected for the sell-out game.
