The world’s largest comic book and popular arts convention, Comic-Con is a one-stop shop for artists of all types of talents looking to sell their work. Comic-Con 2012 will take place in San Diego from July 12 through July 15 at the San Diego Convention Center with Preview Night on July 11. Highlights of this well-attended event include exhibitors, awards, games, an art show, and films. In addition, there were will be dozens of special guests, including Sergio Aragonés, one of MAD magazine's longest-running cartoonists and the creator of dim-witted barbarian “Groo the Wanderer”;  N. K. Jemisin, the Hugo, Nebula, and World Fantasy Award-nominated author of The Inheritance Trilogy; Karl Kerschl, who has worked on “Superman,” “The Flash,” and “Teen Titans”, and Lynn Johnston, the Canadian cartoonist known for the popular comic strip, “For Better or For Worse,” which ended in 2010 but is still reprinted in more than 2,000 papers in nearly two dozen countries.
