While renowned automobile collector and racer Briggs Cunningham may have initially inspired the San Diego Automotive Museum, it's the millions of auto enthusiasts from around the world that have since kept its mission alive. Today, this celebrated museum serves as a tribute to the automobiles of the past, present, and future.
And now, visitors to the San Diego Automotive Museum can celebrate the institution's 25 years of existence in Balboa Park with its "Get Your Kicks: Fundraiser to Benefit Night." For $90 per person, patrons can munch on delectable hors d'oeuvres, sip on tasty beverages, and participate in a one-night auction on Saturday, January 18th from 5:30 until 8:30 p.m.
Plus, there are always the museum's other countless permanent exhibitions on display. Chopper lovers can view a timeless Harley Davidson Collection while history buffs can inspect Louis Mattar's Fabulous Car. Expect incredible barn finds, show-stopping vehicles, Corvettes, and Indian motorcycles, too.
