Celebrate the cinema and culture of riding the waves at the 2014 San Diego Surf Film Festival. Featuring an exciting array of film screenings, live art events, music performances and surfing legends, this fun-filled festival honors the filmmakers and producers who attempt to capture the feeling of surfing on the silver screen. Taking place at Bird’s Surf Shed from May 7-10, the San Diego Surf Film Festival showcases Southern California’s love affair with the first extreme sport. The city of San Diego has a long history with surfing, along with 75 miles of diverse coastline, making it an ideal host for this inaugural film festival. Attend showings of surf-centric movies from California and around the world, visit inspiring art galleries and ready to hang loose during this four-day event.
