St. Patrick's Day Parade in San Diego
Enjoy a day of fun and pageantry at the 34th Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade in San Diego. One of the city's largest single-day events, the parade will feature 120 entries centered on this year's theme of celebrating people in public service.
In accordance with this theme, the parade will include Police and Fire Department units, Scout Troops, Border Patrol units and the Emerald Societies. It will also feature clowns, marching bands, floats, bagpipe contingents, equestrian entries, Shriners, roller skaters, drill teams, antique cars, the Smiling Irishman, the reigning Miss Colleen and much more.
At 10:30 a.m., the parade will step off from Sixth Avenue and Juniper Street and move north on Fifth Avenue to Upas. At that point, it will move South on Sixth Avenue and conclude at Juniper Street.
Scheduled to pass by some of the area's most popular pubs and restaurants, the St. Patrick’s Day Parade offers plenty of entertainment, whether you're looking for a focal point for your holiday celebration or a compliment to a long day of food, fun and libations.
