November 26-30, 2014
Jazz-genre bands assemble from every corner of the country for this live music festival. Town and Country Convention Center will be bringing in the crowds for five full days this fall season. Head to Hotel Circle during the long holiday weekend, and pair your delicious holiday meal with high-energy jazz music. You can purchase tickets for a single day of sound bytes, or get a multi-day ticket package to enjoy all the scheduled entertainment.
Hang out, and have fun with the whole family. The long lineup of performances includes traditional jazz, sultry swing, boogie-woogie, ragtime or Dixieland. San Diego native Sue Palmer will perform with the Motel Swing Orchestra, sure to be a crowd favorite. Don't miss Deejah Marie as she brings her beautiful voice to blues, swing and jump songs. The festival kicks off with High Society accompanied by the Dave Bennett Quartet.
Check out the dazzling vintage costumes of the Heliotrope Ragtime Orchestra. There will be plenty to see, since many acts will treat the audience to amazing dance performances as well. Sit back and see how the best swing bands do it, or get on stage and strum a guitar during the interactive "JazzSea Jams" sessions. Find local flavors from all over - from the New Orleans Street Music to the classic Rockabilly hits of Jerry Lee Lewis and Elvis Presley.
Share a dance with your sweetheart during the dance demos by the Swing FX Dance Team. The talented showcase offers something for everyone - whether you want to be front row for Sunday Gospel or saxophone solos.
Book reservations at Best Western Seven Seas to treat your family to festive fun this Thanksgiving holiday.
