San Diego Events - Mother Goose Parade - Floats, Bands, & Giant Balloons

Every year on the Sunday before Thanksgiving, the Mother Goose Parade in El Cajon kicks off the holiday season with a whimsical celebration of family-friendly fun. This year, the event takes place from 1 pm to 3 pm on Sunday, November 20 – and thousands of spectators are expected to attend. Get there early to grab a good spot, and watch over 100 beautifully decorated floats cruise past. You'll also be treated to performances by marching bands, drill units, and dance teams. See giant helium balloons bob and float their way along the parade route, cheer on the horse teams, and watch unique vehicles roll past. There will also be special appearances by animated clowns, celebrities, performing artists, special characters, and of course: Santa Claus.

The Mother Goose Parade is free to attend and is a family tradition for many families in the area. Will you be traveling to Southern California this season and exploring San Diego events?
