The weeklong festival that craft beer lovers wait for is just around the corner. Between November 7th and 16th, come out for a wide variety of events that showcase and celebrate craft beer beverages. Here's a look at some of the events featuring special beer nights with first-class breweries, the annual Guild Fest, and the hopping Beer Garden:
Special Beer Nights - Whether you have a favorite brewery or you want to sample some newer names, check out the special beer nights with all craft beer's most beloved brands. On November 7th, Delaware-based Dogfish Head will get the party started. Known for their flavorful India Pale Ales - including the highly potent 120 min IPA - you can try seasonal brews like the top-rated Punkin Pumpkin Ale, along with specialty releases and popular ales.
The next night, the OB Noodle House welcomes Ommegang. Sip on their popular Saison, Hop House, Dubbel, Golden Ale, or IPA - and keep the glass. The next few nights, you can experience the complex flavor profiles of Ninkasi, Delirium (a favorite in Belgium), Ballast Point, Sierra Nevada, Ironfire, Stone, and Avery.
12th Annual Guild Fest - Head to the Port Pavilion on Broadway Pier in downtown San Diego November 7th and 8th for the yearly Guild Fest celebration. Start beer week off with a bang by treating your taste buds to more than 50 San Diego County breweries offering samples onsite.
The Beer Garden - It's the grand finale of the festival. Spend an afternoon at the lodge at Torrey Pines on Sunday, November 16th. From 12-3 p.m., the Beer Garden will be bubbling with activity. Your admission buys you unlimited tasters of both beer and food prepared by talented local chefs. Come sip and savor San Diego's finest cuisines and craft brew blends.
