Old Town Fall Festival
Get into the spirit of the '70s. That's the 1870s! Fall is a wonderful time in San Diego as the kids go back to school, the weather cools down, and the bounty of the local harvest comes to fruition. Celebrate this spectacular season with a trip to the Fall Festival for an unforgettable afternoon of fun with a side of history. Bring the kids to this annual family-friendly event in the central plaza Old Town San Diego State Historic Park. Children can play games, make old-time crafts, and step back in time to a different era. Explore the popular shops of Old Town and visit merchants who will be hosting special activities to celebrate fall. This is a unique opportunity for kids to experience history up close, while enjoying one of San Diego's most popular gathering spots. Admission to the festival is free and it all takes place on October 27 from noon to 4pm.

Old Town San Diego is one of the top sights in Southern California and offers a variety of entertainment options like tequila tasting for adults to interactive, hands-on exhibits for the little ones. Shops dot the quaint streets, and there are plenty of vendors where you can taste the best cuisine from California and Mexico. But Old Town is so much more than that. It's a unique place to learn about the past of San Diego and get a feel for what it was like to live in the days of old. A day of exploring here is like no other experience on the West Coast.
