This is the time of year when everyone is reminded to give thanks for everything from good health to good friends. At the Best Western Seven Seas, we are grateful all year-round for you, our valued guests, who come from around the country and around the world to grace us with your presence. We appreciate you choosing our friendly San Diego hotel and want to offer you our heartfelt thanks.  If you happen to be staying with us this year during the Thanksgiving holiday, we want you to know that you'll be surrounded by our warm and welcoming staff and lots of fun things to do, such as the Father Joe's Village Thanksgiving Day 5K Run. It gets started at 7:45 a.m. in Balboa Park and features nearly 10,000 participants. This annual event, which is in its 13th year, is a great way to burn some serious calories before digging into the biggest meal of the year.

Now, you may very well be in San Diego to visit friends and family, which means you'll have a place to go for Thanksgiving dinner. If not, we can recommend several excellent dining establishments. Seasons 52 San Diego, known for its contemporary American cuisine, also features a traditional Thanksgiving meal with turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce, and pumpkin pie. While tradition is nice, you may be in the mood to mix it up a bit, which you can do at Morton's The Steakhouse where steak, fish, lobster, and chicken can be a delectable alternative.
