The 2012 San Diego County Fair, which opened Friday, June 8 and will run through Wednesday, July 4 at the Del Mar Fairgrounds, is an annual event not to be missed.  Discover many fun attractions, cool contests, and competitive exhibits, and make sure to check out the multitude of entertaining events. These include:  the San Diego International Beer Festival, Enviro Fair, SummerFist III: Mixed Martial Arts, and Motorsports Week, plus the Kids Festival and Food Truck Festival, both of which are new. On the Fourth of July, there’s pro wrestling along with the Hometown Heroes parade, patriotic contests, live entertainment, and fabulous fireworks. What’s more, there are several special days to make the 2012 San Diego County Fair even more special. Every Tuesday is Kids’ Day with fun activities for the younger generation and free admission for little ones age 12 and under. Also on Tuesday is Taste of the Fair where you can get tastes of delicious fair food for just $2.00. And every Sunday is Dia de la Familia, featuring Latin-themed entertainment.
