Balboa Park December Nights are a seasonal tradition over the San Diego holidays, celebrating their 35th year in 2012. That means millions of lights, festive food, Christmas music, culture, arts, shopping, and more! On December 7th, from 5-10pm, and Saturday the 8th, from noon-10pm, Balboa Park brims with holiday cheer you won't find anywhere else in the country. Not only that, participating park museums also offer free admission from 5-9pm both nights. Attracting over 300,000 people, it's the biggest free community festival in San Diego all year!
Delicious food and holiday treats from across the globe are available at the International Christmas Festival at the House of Pacific Relations Cottages, while performances from The Balboa Park Puppet Guild, and San Diego Junior Theatre await. So grab a hot cocoa or apple cider, snuggle up with the family, and get into the spirit of the season. It's a San Diego tradition!
