San Diego Mother Goose Parade
Every Sunday before Thanksgiving, the city of El Cajon welcomes the playful Mother Goose Parade. This free, family-friendly event is a community tradition that features a dynamic collection of floats, performers and local groups. The Mother Goose Parade is the biggest procession of its kind west of the Mississippi, and it's free to attend. What will you see at this popular parade? Join thousands of spectators to watch the colorful procession that includes:

•    Spectacular Motorized Floats
•    Cymbal-Crashing Marching Bands
•    Sparkling Drill Teams and Dance Squads
•    Huge Helium Balloons
•    Graceful Horse Units
•    Funny Clowns & Characters
•    Singers & Performing Artists
•    Specialty Vehicles
•    Celebrities
•    Santa Claus

The day begins with a red carpet event beginning at 8AM, and then the Mother Goose Parade sets off at 10AM. The procession begins at Magnolia and Main, and will head down Main Street to N. Second Street, turning north and finally ending at Madison (at El Cajon City Park). Join the parade participants at the finish line to find the festive Mother Goose Village, with kids activities, vendors, food and drink. Are you planning a stay in San Diego?
