San Diego Labor Day Weekend Activities

1.       Tall Ships Battle on San Diego Bay

As one of the last stops of your summer vacation, make your way to the San Diego bay for a full schedule of Labor Day weekend activities. Mock battle sets a magnificent backdrop for the waterfront, an event that is sure to captivate the kids. In addition to this visually stunning scene, all this combat will unfold with historical accuracy. Watch as these ships employ the same strategies used in the 1800’s, as the Gold Rush created new cultural clashes in California.  This event is an add-on to the weekend’s signature Festival of Sail, hosted by the Maritime Museum of San Diego. During this time, the North Embarcadero becomes a nautical theme park for four full days of adventure and seaside fascination.
