Government/Corporate Sales Manager:  Experience in the government/military market preferred. Good negotiation skills, computer literate.  Manager should have knowledge of all phases of sales. Job Description:   

Position Purpose:  Responsible for individual and group sales within the government, military and corporate markets.  As a self motivated Sales Manager you are responsible for soliciting business for the hotel, account management, finalizing contracts for group bookings, actively seeking new clients for hotel and maintaining relationships with existing clients to generate repeat business

Examples of Duties:  Experienced selling to the government/military market segments.
Actively participate in industry related organizations.
Consistently make sales calls both local and national for new business and existing accounts.

Extensive travel within California, DC, Virginia, Philadelphia, Carolina’s, New England, Seattle, and Gulf Coast, to name a few.
Attend Staff meeting and Sales meetings upon request. 

Aggressively pursue new accounts on a weekly basis.
Maintain long-term business relationships.
Make presentations to prospective clients and long-term relationships.
Maintain effective involvement with key community organizations

Attend trade shows.

Meets operating budget and sales forecasts

Forecasting skills.
