Fourth of July in San Diego

Details

The 13th Annual "Big Bay Boom" July 4th Fireworks Show
Show starts at 9 p.m.
Fireworks displayed from four barges on San Diego bay.

On land or on water, you can see a spectacular fireworks show from four barges in the San Diego Bay area. Whether you wander over to Shelter Island, Harbor Island, Embarcadero, or Seaport Village/ Coronado Landing, the night sky will be beautifully ablaze during this sophisticated choreographed show. All four of these waterfront locations will be lit up as a world-class operator orchestrates technically advanced fireworks for a phenomenal display. Taken all together, this amazing show will be set to music broadcast “live” on THE WALRUS 105.7FM radio.

While there may be plenty of places to find fireworks around the North Bay area, you won’t want to miss this special opportunity to honor the Armed Services in the true spirit of this holiday. This show, set to take place at 9 p.m. on Monday, July 4, 2013, is a solid local tradition now in its 13th year. Known as the “largest event on the West Coast,” the Big Bay Boom will combine the festive firecrackers with originally produced musical selections. These incredible sights and sounds will resonate deeply in the natural amphitheater from Point Loma to Shelter and Harbor Islands, Liberty Station, Little Italy, the Ferry Landing, and assorted locations in the North Bay area.

Be sure to make your way to San Diego to join hundreds of thousands of spectators at this entertaining show. Plus, you can pay tribute to the Armed Forces – and their families – who have made it possible for our nation to celebrate its 235th birthday.
